Video samples with audio

I got couple problems to see these with My communicator,
so if your browser dont automaticly start media player, try save these to your hard disk and play it then.
These videos work well with MS mediaplayer 6.01 version.

If you find errors ect. in this page???
please, let me know ASAP!
Thank you to visit here!

These are my hobby related site's and all information is based my technical experience.
Reason why i made these page is cause i havent find anywhere possiblity to comparage those receivers togerher or any real comparison what is not "coloured" so This is my small contribution to the hobby of monitoring.

All these clips have audio directly from radio!

If audio is not heard,
unit cant produce audio when its doing that function what is in video clip.
Video Signal is packed with MS video1 codec
and audio is plain PCM 11kt/s (11024Hz, 8bit)

maybe i'm too dramatical when i say above,
in fact AOR 8200 cant product audio when scope is working.
that's why in first 2 clips dont have audio but all wire's are connected
(as you can hear low level hum there)
Time what is below file name is time when video is recorded.

I've made those with TV camera and Hauppage videocapture card
audio is feeded dicetly to video card.

If some one know what packin method i should use to get those videos smaller?
without loosing frame rate of those videos?
All ideas are wellcome to me!

These first clips are from local WFM station "Radio Plus"
With discone antenna in 25m high

 AR-8200Mk2 (10MHz wide sweep)
2316Kt LONG!!
(no audio! cause AOR is unable to produce audio when scope is on)
12. aug 2000 GMT 19.39

AR-8200Mk2 (2MHz wide sweep) 975Kt
(no audio! cause AOR is unable to produce audio when scope is on)
12. aug 2000 GMT 19.41

MVT-9000Mk2 M3.5 Scope (640KHz wide 10KHz resolution) 747Kt
With Marker function on (widest sweep with 10KHz resolution)
12.aug 2000 GMT 19.26

MVT-9000Mk2 M3.5 (320Khz wide 10KHz resolution) 956Kt
With minimum span (fastest sweep)
12. aug 2000 GMT 19.34

MVT-9000Mk2 M3.5 (+/-800KHz wide sweep) 889Kt
total 1.6MHz wide sweep (widest possible sweep 25KHz step)
12. aug 2000 GMT 19.36

These Clips are 6.120MHz HF broadcast station called "Radio Finland"
With 30 meter long wire antenna in 25m high

AR-8200Mk2 in WAM mode(984Kt)
Not so good performance in HF band
12.aug 2000 GMT 19.58

AR-8200Mk2 in AM mode(616Kt)
12. aug 2000 GMT 20.01

AR-8200Mk2 in N-AM mode(731Kt)
Best possible result with AOR in HF band :-(
12. aug 2000 GMT 20.02
Actual program is possible to regonize in this clip
(other wider AM modes dont give enough good performance to made it possible)
This is exsample how poorly Ar8200Mk2 perform in HF band.

AR-8200Mk2 in USB mode(566Kt)
result is sad when comparared to yupi
When receiving AM transmissions in USB mode, it cause distorsion
so SSB circuits and AGC in not proberly desinged
12. aug 2000 GMT 22.11

MVT-9000Mk2 M3.5 in AM mode(694Kt)
I really like Yupi with real reason ;-)
12. aug 2000 GMT 20.04
Only little squealing is heard but still program is possible to regonize,
comparare this to AR-8200 N-AM performance and this is still better than NAM mode with AOR

MVT-9000Mk2 M3.5 in N-AM mode(532Kt)
12. aug 2000 GMT 20.05
Sound is bit dark but it should be cause filter is just 2.4KHz wide

MVT-9000Mk2 M3.5 in USB mode(1758Kt)
Yes, i do monitor quite ofter use SSB mode when i monitor HF AM stations
As you can see that other side slope below 6.120MHz its other infering station
Bandscope resolution minimum is 3KHz /step
12. aug 2000 GMT 22.17
My way to get better sound (wider frequency responce under inference's)

Here is sample of Yupi's N-AM filter edge.
Quite long (2621Kt long)
With that 3KHz scope resolution and 1KHz step
12. aug 2000 GMT 22.22
Radio move little bit cause i use arrow key's to change frequency

Now new addition
Yaesu VR-5000 commincations receiver

Quite long klip of VR-5000 with DSP processor.
Taken 06.02-2001 SA 21.01 (Finnish time)
With AM mode, 15.420MHz, bandscope on.
BBC world service?9.493Mt long
VR-5000 AM HF reception

All feed back is wellcome!
