Difference's are that TXO and 1st IF (754MHz)
have changed mixer circuits,
IC mixer have replaced douple balanced diode
ring mixer.
Front end filters are identical.

Mainly difference's are SSB LSB/USB resonator
separation (better phase noise)
In old unit there was just only one 455KHz
resonator what tuned with capasitors for LSB and USB.
Also 2nd IF filters (crystal) are changed
to same manufacturer model as MVT-9000 have.
in new model those 2nd IF filters are 2
times bigger than old ones. 455KHz filter's are same as before.
