    Is Internet buying safe?

    At Bandercom, internet buying is safe. We do not let anyone know about you or items that you purchased from us. It is solely kept as your business. Our servers and computers are secured and physically guarded and we take pride in confidentiality. Your e-mail address, physical address, phone numbers and credit card numbers or any other information will be kept for Bandercom only. We do not sell e-mail addresses to bulk e-mail companies or share information with other branches. Unlike some dotcom web stores, at Bandercom, all charges, card processing, order handling, packing and information storage are provided and made by our own people.

    How do I know I am getting what I am ordering?

    The best proof of our services is that we have been around since 1992. We are NOT just another Internet vendor. We were one of the first companies in the industry in our territory to have rights to charge credit on mail order and telesales. If we messed up something we'd be out of business soon. We want customers to come back for more and to be satisfied with their purchase over the internet or by other means. Please, do some research on Bandercom and also other vendors.     Is Overseas Delivery safe?

    Yes and no. We loose many packages in the world by mail and couriers each year. But, the key issue here is that you do not have to worry about it. We insure all shipments for your money's safety. We guarantee delivery to many locations in the world - no excuses. We would like to think that this is the least we can do. A list of countries that we have delivered to can be found here.

    What delivery method do you offer?

    We ship by several methods. From Postal Air Mail and surface ground delivery to the most advanced overnight special deliveries by UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT, Airborne, JetCargo, General Parcel etc. There is always an option. We have shipped to over 50 countries in the World by different means. Available delivery methods are described in our web order process. If you have special requests, they will be taken into consideration.

    Do I have to pay fees, like duty or tax?

    Not in the 18 Countries which are in the European Union. In other countries it depends on the value, size and delivery method. In some countries we offer special service and pay all the fees to our courier account and you will not have to worry about those. Since we are specialized in this business we have information at hand regarding different taxation, duties and other fees concerning your order. Please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail, phone or fax prior to ordering.

    What if Customs confiscates my order?

    Customs will not likely confiscate any delivery in almost any country. We know what we are doing and also will let you know if there is a problem that is unforseen due to the nature of the merchandise. You have a right to be concerned about this. We are dealing with merchandise that has some or many restrictions in most of the world such as when it comes to operating, owning, and selling.     What about warranty?

    This is the trickiest part. Usually manufacturers are rather small and you can not compare them to automobile or cellular phone manufacturers which would honor their warranty at local repair shops in any country of the world. Since this is not the case with many items that we sell we have had to take this further.

    Since we want to take responsability of our sales and items that we sell even better than manufacturers we have 12 - 24 month warranty on almost all items that we sell. This is something that needed to be done. Items will therefore need to be sent back to us in case of warranty repair. But, please, understand that shipping procedures, paperwork, etc. will require time and warranty repair, replace or response times may not be counted in days but usually in weeks.

    We have recently developed FulPak-terms to better meet requirements set by more demanding customers and are offering free deliveries on warranty replacements/repairs and extended warranty times/terms. FulPak is available at extra cost and is not available to all purchasers or items.

    Why are your prices lower?

    We'd like to think that low pricing - along with customer service, knowledge and support - is one of the key buying factors. Please note that Bandercom takes pride in all of these areas: Price, Service, Knowledge and Support.

    On most items we can offer prices that no other vendor can. If you feel that same merchandise is offered for sale at lower cost at some other vendor, please contact our sales desk to discuss this and for possible discounts. Please note that this is limited to exactly same item, definition, version and model number.

    Lower pricing is possible only with direct imports and large quantities we are buying, selling and brokering. Our invoice total prices always includes the shipping and handling so you don't have to go thru figuring out the total cost. What you see is what you pay to us! There are no hidden costs or fees.

    What currency are your prices?

    Our home currency is EUR. EUR is the new European currency. All prices are set in EUR and prices listed are based on EUR. In most cases you will also see the price equivalent in your own currency, then both currencies are displayed. Note that although we try to update the currency database every day we can not be protected from currency fluctuation. All prices are in EUR and your currency is displayed just to give you an idea what you will be approximately paying when your credit card billing statement comes in *). Bandercom can not control currency fluctuation. We can not know what currency exchange rate your bank will be using and can not be held responsible for any surcharges that your bank or credit card company has set for foreign purchases.     *) Except for EUR member currencies which have fixed exchange rate to EUR. Prices in local currency will be shown 100% accurate as rate of EUR is fixed. These currencies are Finland FIM, Austria ATS, Belgium BEF, Deutsch DEM, Spain ESP, France FRF, Ireland IEP, Italy ITL, Luxemburg LUF, Netherlands NLG, Portugal PTE.

    When do you send a order?

    If items are in stock, we promise to send your order to you within 3 business days from your order date or it will be shipped for free (this is that we have received full authorization, verification from credit card company, which is needed prior to release of order). We have a good inventory and can ship/send your order usually the same day. Please, understand that credit card verfication may take up to several hours.

    Special order items, such as parts not normally stocked or items which must be configured at the manufacturer can take 2 to 4 weeks or longer prior to delivery. Additional charges will apply for rush priority service.

    Do I have to worry about back orders?

    We will promptly advise you about stock shortages and will estimate the delivery time, then you can accept or cancel your order. Exact Terms and Policies are set per your country and are described in the web order process.

    When do you charge my credit card?

    First, when the order comes in we will have to do a verification. The verification process, which may delay your shipment, is required for your initial order, after which you are entered into our customer database. Verification of your credit information may be requested upon subsequent orders.

    Our credit card processing company also reserves the right to perform verifications and checking on random. Note that this may delay your shipment for up to 78 hours.

    If your card is a debit card, please allow up to 48 hours for authorization. The amount of your order will be reserved and deducted immediately from your debit account. There may be difference in the amount of authorization reservation and our final charge.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    Visa, Mastercard, American Express credit cards accepted. We accept Cashier's checks and International Money Orders. Additional charge on orders under $250 for clearing is $10 (or equivalent). Please, do note that we can not accept Domestic Money Orders or Domestic Postal Money Orders, neither we can accept personal checks or company checks. For large orders we can accept personal and company checks but the clearing charge is $90 and clearing time is 28 days. To some countries we can accept written Purchase Orders from Municipalities, Local Government, State and Government offices.

    We also accept SWIFT and bank wire transfers. An additional fee of $10 is charged for orders under $250. Contact us for more information. At this time we can not accept Western Union transfers.
